The DarkChannel IRC Gateway is implemented within the DarkChannel client.
Preamble
The DarkChannel protocol specification has been implementated in a prototype implementation which which has grown into a first a reference implementation of the DarkChannel protocol.
This reference implementation also provides a stable software base for testing the various components of the DarkChannel protocol specification.
The evolution of the DarkChannel protocol will take place within this reference implementation for the time being.
